Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko are still calling each other a year after their initial breakup.
Nader spoke about being labeled “bitter” by critics for continuing to talk about their breakup during an appearance on the “Olivia’s House” podcast on Thursday. But she made sure to point out that her “boring” ex-boyfriend had just gone on a rant about her on social media
“Everyone’s like, ‘What, are you still talking about this? Are you still bitter?’ “Meanwhile, this shitty guy is like 40-something and he went on Instagram Live a few nights ago and was like ranting about me and my whole family,” the model, 28, laughed.
“And he’s like, ‘But I don’t care.’ And somebody goes, ‘I don’t care, but 12 months from now you’re going to be complaining about it on Instagram Live?'”
“So it’s OK to retaliate over little things,” Nader added, acknowledging that their intensity was probably why they “made good chemistry” during their relationship.
“We were both really shitty personalities, so we were doing messed up, toxic, petty things to each other,” she confessed.
Nader and Savchenko, 42, met last year when they were paired together on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars.
Just a week after their partnership was announced in September 2024, the two sparked dating rumors, posted videos of themselves flirting, and were seen getting along well outside of rehearsals.
However, Savchenko exclusively told Page Six at the time that he and Nader were simply focused on winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
The pair confirmed their romance a few weeks later when they were spotted kissing, and even got matching ink during a PDA-packed trip to a tattoo parlor, which Nader called “a special little thing.”
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model first revealed their breakup in a cryptic TikTok video the following month, but they reconnected in November 2024, and the professional dancer even spent Thanksgiving with Nader’s family.
It seemed like their romance had gotten very serious until they broke up for good in April.
“I was surprised to learn in an article published today that Brooks had ended our relationship,” Savchenko told Page Six in a statement at the time.
“The last thing I received from her was a text message asking for her statement on April 6th. I called her today in response, but she didn’t answer.”
Although Nader claimed that he cheated on her during their relationship, the choreographer exclusively told Page Six that all reports of an affair were false.
