Months after signing a modeling contract, Henry Samuel is looking back at the highlights of his famous parents’ careers.
While chatting exclusively with PEOPLE at the 2025 GQ Men of the Year Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 13, Seal and Heidi Klum’s 20-year-old son revealed his favorite moment from his supermodel mother and musician father’s careers.
“For my mom on the runway, it’s definitely Victoria’s Secret,” she said of Klum, 52, referring to her 11-year reign as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. “With Adriana Lima in the 90s.”

Regarding his father Seal, Henry cited a specific performance by the 62-year-old singer.
“Absolutely, when we were doing the[memorial]performance for Prince, I think that was my father’s favorite moment,” he said, referring to the late “Purple Rain” singer, who died in 2016 at the age of 57.
Henry also said that his parents, known for their style, encouraged him to experiment with fashion and self-expression.
“When I was a kid, I was always evolving my style and just figuring out how I looked and how I felt in different clothes, and that evolved over time. So they told me, ‘Whatever makes you feel good, whatever makes you feel powerful, make you feel like who you want to feel,'” he explains.
In addition to Henry, Klum and Seal, who split in 2012 after nearly seven years of marriage, also have children Leni, 21, Johan, 18, and Lou, 16.

Henry is following in his mother’s footsteps and is proudly pursuing a career as a model. Back in January, he made his runway debut at the Lena Erziak Spring/Summer 2025 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week. And just a few months later, he appeared on the cover of a magazine for the first time with Hunger.
In July, Henry signed a contract with NEXT Management. At the time, he said in a press release, “I grew up around fashion and entertainment, but stepping into this world on my own is a whole new experience. I’m grateful to Next Management for this opportunity and I’m excited to learn, grow, and find my voice in the industry.”
Henry currently tells PEOPLE that his career has been “going well” so far.

“I’m doing a little thing with YSL. I’m having fun with them right now. I’m doing all their beauty stuff and their fragrance stuff,” he revealed, teasing, “I’ve got a lot more projects to do with them in the future.”
He hopes to get the chance to work with his sister Leni, who is also a model, and to be in front of the camera again with his mother. “I’ve worked with her at Elle magazine, but of course I’d like to do more,” he says.
