Melissa Gorga says she feels “relief” after her husband Joe and Teresa Giudice ended their “dark” feud after 15 years.
“We all sat down and it went really well,” Melissa told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy at BravoCon on Friday.
The 46-year-old “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star stressed that she was relieved to finally be able to forget about their problems.
“It’s been a while. It’s been dark for too long. It’s been too much,” she continued.
“How can you tell a child not to fight with his brother when he sees his father fighting with his brother? We have to teach our children that life is not like this. This is not normal.”
Still, as the holidays approach, Melissa isn’t sure if her family is ready for a large gathering.
“I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. There could probably be some kind of dinner,” she said, adding, “We haven’t talked about a vacation yet.”
Judith revealed during the Housewives 2 Housewives panel discussion at BravoCon on Friday that she has finally said goodbye to her estranged brother and sister-in-law after nearly 15 years of feuding.
Judith, 53, said of the reunion, “Everyone came together. I’m really grateful and grateful.”
To show that there were no hard feelings, Joe, 51, stopped by Judith’s shop where she and husband Luis Ruelas were signing merchandise for fans.
A TikTok video showed the brother pulling his sister and Ruelas together for a quick hug.
In an interview on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live” in September, Judith revealed that she would “never say no” to the possibility of reuniting with her estranged brother and sister-in-law, urging reconciliation.
Later that month, Melissa told Page Six in response to Judith’s confession that “the door had been closed” between the feuding families for some time.
“[Teresa]has been saying out loud on multiple platforms and podcasts and everything that the door is closed. So, to be real, I’m confused as to why the door would open or crack a little bit,” she said at the “Virtual Reali-Tea” awards.
In October, Joe responded to his sister’s confession, saying he was willing to “forgive” Teresa, but only if she came from a “poor place.”
