Wendy Osefo made her first public appearance at BravoCon 2025 on Friday after she and her husband Eddie were arrested on fraud charges in October.
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star attended a panel discussion at Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip with castmates Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Tia Glover, Angel Massey, Monique Samuels, Kiaruna Stewart and Stacey Rush.
“As you know, this is an unfortunate situation and I can’t say too much right now, but I will when the time is right,” she said. “I will share my story with you all. And for now, they are just suspicions. So we will continue to move forward.”
“I would like to thank my cast members for being there for me during this time,” Osefo, 41, continued. “I think it was Stacey and Monique’s relationship that was the first to reach out. You know, I’m very grateful for that. Tia has reached out many times when something has happened (and Gisele as well).”
“I am truly grateful for the support I have received from my cast members, production team, and Bravo.”
The reality star added, “Thank you so much because I’m overwhelmed with love.”
Rush spoke out in support of Osefo on Friday in a conversation with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” host Evan Real.
The QVC host slammed those who don’t support Osefos amid the allegations, saying they are “not real friends”.
“My friend is there for me through the best of times and the worst of times. I love her and will support her no matter what,” Rush exclusively said.
Osefo’s appearance comes almost a month after he returned to social media following his arrest.
On October 19, she shared two photos of herself modeling a long black dress that featured a plunging neckline.
“And no matter what, God remains faithful,” she captioned the photo at the time.
“Thank you for the outpouring of love, support and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We will be forever grateful.”
The couple were arrested on fraud charges earlier that month.
The charges stem from a reported robbery in April 2024, in which Wendy claimed some of her designer bags and jewelry were stolen while she was on vacation in Jamaica.
Osefo was charged with 16 charges. He faces seven felony counts of insurance fraud, eight misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and one misdemeanor count of making false statements to a police officer.
Eddie was indicted on 18 charges.
Those include nine felony counts of insurance fraud, eight misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud, and one misdemeanor count of making false statements to a police officer.
