Lady Gaga’s fiancé Michael Polanski has given rare insight into the couple’s wedding planning process.
The businessman revealed that he and the “Bad Romance” singer have been constantly discussing their impending marriage.
“We talk about it all the time,” Polanski said in Rolling Stone’s Gaga cover story published Thursday.
“We have these holidays and it’s tempting. It’s like, ‘Okay, can we get married that weekend?'”
Polanski, 42, said he wanted his and Gaga’s wedding, 39, to feel intimate yet special.
“We don’t want a very big wedding, but we want to have fun,” he said. “In many ways, I feel like we’re already married, so it’s not going to change much.”
Although they haven’t set an exact date, the couple plans to get married “soon” and plan to seal the deal during or after her Mayhem Ball tour.
Gaga gushes about her relationship with Polanski in an interview, explaining that he sees her as more than just a pop star.
“Loving someone who cared for me for who I really was made a huge difference,” she said.
But Gaga also had to relearn who she really was beneath her public persona.
“If you don’t know how to be yourself to everyone, how do you learn to be yourself to others?” she asked.
Fortunately, Gaga now feels like she’s a “healthy, whole person.”
Last year, the “Poker Face” artist claimed he wanted a courthouse wedding.
“We’re actually talking about going to the courthouse just the two of us and ordering Chinese food,” Gaga revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” In October 2024.
She then joked, “Once you get to know me, it might be like a circus with unicorns.”
Gaga may not be clear about her wedding vision, but we’re sure she wants to start a family with Polanski.
Gaga said, “Being a mother is what I want most.” “And he’s going to be a beautiful father. We’re really excited about that.”
The two met at a party in 2019 and went on their first date a few weeks later.
The two ended up quarantining together during the 2020 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, and Polanski proposed to the A Star Is Born actress in April 2024 with a giant diamond ring.
