Chrishell Stause has publicly cut ties with all but one of her former Selling Sunset castmates.
The 44-year-old reality star announced last week that she was leaving the show after nine seasons, but fans noted that she unfollowed most of the cast members on Instagram, except for Chelsea Razkani.
Season 9 of the Netflix series also starred Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Bre Tiessi, Alana Gold, Mary Bonet, Amanza Smith, and newcomer Sandra Vergara.
Stause clashed with most of his castmates during the latest season, especially former best friends Hernan and Young, but “wished them all the best” after announcing his shocking departure.
“I have no ill will towards the show,” she tells Bustle. “This show has given me a lot of opportunities, and even if I end up leaving in a way I didn’t want, I don’t want to be bitter about it.”
Stause, who has appeared on Selling Sunset since it premiered in 2019, said she no longer needs the show financially and that it’s not good for her mental health.
In particular, she had a hard time filming the latest “Selling Sunset” reunion.
“After hours, I was like, ‘Let’s just sit here and get through this. You’re not a quitter, but you don’t have to do it again. And I promise you, to your soul, you’re never going to quit,'” she said.
Bonett recently appeared on Page Six’s “Virtual Real-Tea” and said he has distanced himself from Stause after a tumultuous season.
“Things got worse,” said Bonet, who is also an original cast member of “Selling Sunset.” “There are so many falsehoods out there that are really, really damaging to our lives. This isn’t just a TV show. This is our life.”
Bonnet, 45, also revealed that he has stopped drinking.
“It used to be helpful. Something would be stressful and… it would just release the tension,” she explained. “And living this life, well, there’s something crazy and dramatic happening every day. And I started to feel like that was causing even more anxiety.”
“Nothing bad happened. No one noticed. I didn’t drop the ball on anything,” she added. “But for me, for my health, for my mental health, I thought, ‘Let’s take a break.’ And I did. And it was easy. I feel good, I feel great.”
