Variety reports that the legal drama “Reasonable Doubt” has been renewed for a fourth season on Hulu.
The Onyx Collective series will debut Season 3 in September, with the season finale set to premiere on November 13th. Emayatsi Corinealdi leads the series alongside series regulars McKinley Freeman, Tim Joe, Angela Grovey, and Joseph Sikora.
The official description for Season 3 reads:
“A turbulent season in which Jax (Corinaldi) must fight to exonerate his latest client, former child actor Ozzie Edwards (Kyle Barry), once beloved by millions, now accused of murder, with an entourage of enablers and a chaos that only Jax can unravel. As America gathers to watch his trial, Jax must contend with an ambitious new colleague, Bill Starling (Sikora).
Ramullah Mohammed created and serves as executive producer of Rational Doubt. Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone will executive produce through Simpson Street, with support from Willmore Films’ Larry Wilmore, Anton Cropper and Lena Cordina. Sean Hawley, John Leshay, Tamara Gregory, Erica Harrison and Zahir McGee will serve as co-executive producers. The series is produced by Onyx Collective and produced by 20th Television.
“Reasonable Doubt” is Onyx Collective’s first debut scripted show and one of only two scripted series currently under the Onyx Collective banner. The other is the comedy “Deli Boys,” which was renewed for a second season in August. Onyx recently ordered a pilot for the drama Southern Bastards, which is based on the graphic novel of the same name.
