‘For Good’ leads Hollywood music in media nominations

“Wicked: For Good” topped the Hollywood Music in Media Awards with six nominations.

“Sinners” received five nominations, followed by “F1” and “The Ballad of Wallis Island” with four nominations each.

The Hollywood Music in Media Awards honors music and compositions from film, television and video games, and recognizes the composers, songwriters and music supervisors of this year’s theatrical releases.The awards ceremony will be held on November 19th at The Avalon in Hollywood, California.

Song nominees include Ludwig Goransson, Miles Caton, Alice Smith, Rafael Saadiyk, Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, Diane Warren, Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, Shakira, Hunter/X, Sara Bareilles, Brandi Carlile, Don Toliver, Doja Cat, Ryan Tedder, Grant Boutin, Aiyana Lee, Billy Idol, J. Ralph, Sam Ryder, Karol G. John Mayer, and others.

On-screen performance nominees for the award include EJAE, Ley Ami and Audrey Nouna for “Kpop Demon Hunters,” Aiyana Lee for “Highest 2 Lowest,” Bono for “Bono: Stories of Surrender,” Myles Caton for “Sinners,” and Tom Basden and Carey Mulligan for “The Ballad of Wallis Island.”
