Taylor Swift didn’t show up for Travis Kelce’s away game against the Buffalo Bills Taylor Swift hasn’t shown up for Kelce’s last three games, all of which were played at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, but Swift typically only attends Kelce’s home games, in part for safety reasons.
After Taylor Swift attended three consecutive Travis Kelce home games at Arrowhead Stadium, Taylor Swift spent Sunday away from the spotlight. She was nowhere to be seen at Highmark Stadium this afternoon as the Kansas City Chiefs lost 21-28 to the Buffalo Bills. It’s unclear whether Swift privately watched her partner at a sporting event in Orchard Park, New York, but she has a history of missing away games due to safety concerns.
Swift was photographed having dinner on Thursday in New York City, about six hours away from the stadium.
For the past two seasons, Swift has only appeared in home games. A source told Page Six in October 2024 that security was the main reason: “She knows the venue well and won’t go anywhere unless it’s been thoroughly scouted and safe beforehand.”
Swift was a low-profile presence at this year’s home games as well. She has gone all season without being photographed entering stadiums, and the NFL rarely shows footage of her on the air.
A source told Us Weekly earlier this week that the Showgirls singer has decided to keep a lower profile during Kelsey’s matches this season because the attention on her has become “too much.”
I can’t stop thinking about Kelce whenever she plays, whether she’s actually in the stadium or not. During the final away game, Swift was filming an appearance on The Tonight Show. She told host Jimmy Fallon that she was thinking about the Chiefs, saying, “Today is game day. My mind is focused on that.”
The star is good at keeping a low profile when she wants to, and that’s what she did most of this week. She was not photographed at the Halloween party and has not posted on social media.
