Picture Tree International Airport has acquired the international sales rights, excluding the Benelux countries, to the Flemish noir thriller “Night Creatures” (Nachtvlinders), directed by Indra Sierra (“Old Belgium”, “Professor T”). The film will be introduced to international buyers at the upcoming American Film Market.
Kinepolis Film Distribution will release the film in Benelux on November 5th.
“Night Creatures” is based on the international bestseller “Le Monte Charge” by French author Frédéric Dahl. The novel has been published in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Italian.
The film centers on Dylan, who decides to forget his criminal past after serving time in prison. However, due to an old debt, he has to commit one final break-in at the popular brasserie Papillon. There, he meets the mysterious Margot, and the encounter brings them together in an unexpected way.
The film stars Aimé Claeys (“1985”), Maaike Neuville (“The Twelve”) and Matteo Simoni (“Zillion”).

Picture Tree plans to introduce a variety of works at AFM. These include “Hello Betty,” which tells the true story behind Swiss culinary icon Betty Bossi, and will be released in Switzerland on November 20th. Lucy Liu’s dramatic thriller film “Rosemead” is scheduled for release in the US this December. Additional footage for Sebastian McKinnon’s medieval fantasy epic “The Stolen Child”. Filming has finished and the film is aiming for a premiere in 2026. “The Osha Rule,” a Spanish supernatural thriller starring Mariela Garriga (“Mission: Impossible”); Also included is a 4K restoration of Oliver Hirschbiegel’s German classic “Experiment.”
