“Sinners,” “Severance,” and “The Studio” are among the nominees for FilmLight 2025 Color Awards.
The award recognizes film, television, commercial and digital content practitioners who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in color grading over the past year.
In the theatrical feature category, Photochem’s Kostas Theodosiou is nominated for his work on Sinners, along with Harbour’s Damien Vanderkluysen for Mickey 17, Goldcrest’s Adam Glassman for Nosphoratu, Mate Ternik for The Brutalist, and Company 3’s Gareth Spensley for The Phoenician Project.
In television, Company 3’s Tom Poole is nominated for “Disconnect,” Harbour’s Damien Vanderkluysen is nominated for “The Studio,” Postworks NY’s Peter Doyle is nominated for “Disclaimer,” and Company 3’s Jean-Clément Solet is nominated for “Andor.”
The other four categories are Commercials, Music Videos, Spotlight (recognizing hidden talent), and Emerging Talent, which recognizes the work of colorists ages 18-35. All winners will be announced at the FilmLight Color Awards on November 16th. The award ceremony will take place at EnergaCamerimage in Torun, Poland.
