“90 Day Fiancé” stars Kenny Niedermayer and Armando Rubio have shared an update on their daughter Hannah’s symptoms after an unexplained brain hemorrhage.
Niedermayer and Rubio revealed in an Instagram video Monday that Hannah continues to suffer from partial blindness, a drooping face and weakness.
According to TMZ, they also shared that the 13-year-old is still taking preventative anti-seizure medication and brain swelling medication.
The TLC stars said that Hannah underwent various tests, including an MRI and CT, in hopes that doctors would gain more insight into the underlying cause of her brain bleed.
Niedermayer told TMZ that Hannah is no longer confined to her bed. But she is still resting well and sleeping well.
He also said his daughter will need to stay in Arizona for more than a month while she recovers. The father told TMZ that he is still looking for an apartment in the area, but the cost is very high.
In a three-part Instagram video posted Monday, Niedermayer and her husband revealed that Hannah had been released from the hospital.
“Actually, I’m just so happy, so excited, so excited to let you all know that Hannah has been released from the hospital. This is the best news we can have right now,” Rubio said.
“Lo and behold, since Armando has been here, she has gotten better and better and has improved by leaps and bounds,” he added. “The doctors were very pleased with her progress and said, ‘We think she’ll do better this time if we treat her with you guys in a home environment.'”
It is worth noting that Rubio had great difficulty crossing the US border to see his daughter.
Rubio told Page Six on July 15 that he tried to apply for temporary humanitarian parole to cross the border and be with Hannah.
He said he was told by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection inspector general that these measures have not been authorized since 2025. He and his immigration attorney then moved forward with another emergency request.
On July 18, Rubio was granted an emergency humanitarian visa and was able to reunite with his family in Arizona.
“I am so grateful to the wonderful Customs and Border Protection agents in Arizona who finally approved my visa and allowed me to enter the United States,” Rubio shared in an Instagram post on July 18.
However, Niedermayer acknowledged to TMZ that the border issue is not resolved and that Rubio will need to head to the border on Sunday to see if his visa extension will be approved. He told the outlet that Rubio would need to cross the border completely before consulting with border officials to see if he would be granted an extension.
