Jennifer Lopez is setting her sights on bigger and “better” things as she celebrates her 57th birthday, nearly two years after her split from Ben Affleck.
The “On the Floor” hitmaker on Friday shared a cryptic Instagram video of himself staring into the camera while riding in a car.
The video featured an audio recording of a woman reflecting on the words of President Theodore Roosevelt.
The narration featured a female voice reading a portion of President Theodore Roosevelt’s famous speech, “The Man in the Arena,” about persevering through failure and criticism.
Lopez captioned the post: “Keep going and you’ll get better and better.”
After ringing in for the 57th time on Friday, Lopez appeared to continue celebrating her birthday throughout the weekend.
Earlier this week, she gave her followers an inside look at her birthday getaway with sister Linda Lopez, sharing a carefree photo of her enjoying what appeared to be a dessert without any clothes on.
The singer, 56, grinned from the floor as she sat in a marble bathtub with a big smile on her face.
“A double birthday sister trip is always a great idea!!” Jennifer captioned this weekend’s upload.
“Linnie, I love you!!” the Grammy nominee continued. “happy birthday!!”
After two years of marriage, Jennifer officially filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024, effectively ending their “Bennifer 2.0” romance. The split was settled in January 2025.
The pair have since been spotted spending time together as a family, but the Atlas star has been pretty clear about his feelings about the breakup, saying he’s “happy” to be “free” from the Batman actor.
“I’m in a happy time,” Jennifer said in an interview on Good Morning America in March. “I think for the first time in my life I felt like I was free and alone. And it feels really good.”
