Congratulations are in order for Maya Hawk and Christian Lee Hutson, who got married in New York City on Valentine’s Day.
And the proud mother of the bride, Uma Thurman, served as her ‘Something Blue’ on the special day, wearing an asymmetrical floral Erdem dress with matching suede heels and a Mikimoto pearl necklace set with a 12.40 carat blue tanzanite.
Maya said “I do” at St. George’s Episcopal Church wearing a vintage-style boat neck dress with a dropped waist, delicate bow and a generous layered skirt. She’s a luxury brand ambassador, so it’s probably Prada.
The “Stranger Things” actress completed her bridal look with white point-toe pumps and an elegant veil. For the reception held at The Players, a private social club, Maya wore a matching feathered jacket over her dress.
Her father, Ethan Hawke, walked her down the aisle in a chic dark suit and boots.
Many of Maya’s Stranger Things co-stars attended the wedding, including Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, and Natalie Dyer.
Maya and Christian were longtime friends and musical collaborators before going public with their relationship in 2023.
Singer-songwriter Christian began his career as a member of The Driftwood Singers and has since released several solo albums, co-produced with Phoebe Bridgers.
He collaborated with Maya on her 2022 album Moth and 2024 LP Chaos Angel, and Maya also provided guest vocals on Christian’s latest record, 2024’s Paradise Pop 10.
