Alicia Keys will be closing out the New York Knicks’ victory parade at City Hall on Thursday, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
“The Knicks are bringing in the big guns!” a source told us.
The Grammy winner will reportedly perform her and Jay-Z’s New York anthem “Empire State of Mind.”
The Knicks will parade through Lower Manhattan tomorrow to celebrate winning the 2026 NBA Finals by defeating the San Antonio Spurs.
The procession begins near Battery Park around 10 a.m., heads north on Broadway through the iconic Canyon of the Heroes, and ends at City Hall. Speeches and musical performances will take place there, and teams will be awarded the keys to the city.
Keys, a Manhattan native and lifelong Knicks fan, had to miss Saturday’s final game in San Antonio because he was attending the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of the documentary “Girl from Hell’s Kitchen.”
But Keys, 45, previously admitted he celebrated his big win by donning a Nicks jacket and belting out “Empire State of Mind” at the premiere’s afterparty in front of a star-studded crowd that included Natasha Lyonne, Angela Simmons, Lena Waithe, Jane Rosenthal and hip-hop legend Nas.
The grand party was held at the Capital, which was reborn as Keyes’ homage to New York.
Keys documented the impromptu victory party on Instagram, sharing a video of thousands of fans singing 2009’s Hometown song in the street.
Keys captioned the post: “New York moment!!!!!!🗽✨.” “@nyknicks are officially world champions 🏀”
She gave a shoutout to “her brother” Nas, who is also a native New Yorker, for performing with her on stage.
“Celebrating the greatest city in the world!!!!! Let’s go to New York 🧡💙,” she concluded her post.
In a behind-the-scenes TikTok video set to Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York,” Keys rocked a Knicks jacket as he watched his team win on a television in his dressing room at Tribeca.
“Let’s go to New York!” she cried repeatedly.
She also quipped, “Now we have to change the whole show.”
At the end of the clip, Keys clapped at the TV as his friends pointed out that the last time the Knicks won the NBA Finals was 53 years ago.
