Top Chef winner Rhoda Magbitan has signed on to be represented by Buchwald and Lee Taylor Public Relations + Talent Management.
Magvitan is best known for winning season 23 of Bravo’s “Top Chef.” After winning, she is currently completing her culinary training at Mauna Lani. The training will include a series of intimate dinners hosted by Magbitan from June until early 2027. Magbitan will be joined by fellow Season 23 chefs Sieger Bayer, Oscar Diaz, and Brittany Cochran.
Prior to appearing on “Top Chef,” Magbitan served as executive chef at Chateau Marmont and later led the culinary team at The Inn at Matei’s Tavern, Auberge Collection, where he was recognized by the Michelin Guide. Most recently, she was the first female executive chef at Mauni Lani’s Canoe House, Auberge Collection.
Originally from the Philippines, he came to the United States at the age of 17 to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, and has since worked in renowned kitchens such as the Michelin-starred Melisse, Suzanne Goin’s AOC, Republique, and José Andres’ Bazaar.
“Top Chef” season 23 concluded on June 8, judged by Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons and host Kristen Kish. Sherry Cardoso and Lawrence Lui joined Magbitan for the final three matches and created a four-course meal to determine the winner.
Based in Los Angeles and New York, Buchwald represents talent in the film, television, theater, literary, content creator, animation, voiceover, sports, podcasting, publishing, commercial, broadcast, branding and digital sectors.
