Tom Segura’s estranged wife, Christina Pacitsky, has broken her silence about the couple’s separation.
On Saturday, Pacitsky, 50, posted a message on her Instagram Story, addressing “moms” (the name given to fans of her and Segura’s podcast, “Your Mom’s House”).
“Thank you for all the kind messages,” the comedian wrote. “This is a really difficult time for our family.”
She also explained that the podcast episodes are “pre-recorded, so they don’t mention recent events,” concluding, “Just know that mom loves you and will see you soon.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Segura, 47, who had been married to his girlfriend for 18 years, had separated in recent months but were “completely amicable”.
They have two sons, Ellis and Julian, born in 2016 and 2018 respectively, and co-founded the podcast network YMH Studios. They are also co-hosts of the popular podcast “Your Mom’s House,” which debuted in 2012.
Segura previously hinted on the July 13 episode of the podcast 2 Bears, 1 Cave, which she co-hosts with friend Bert Kreischer, that her marriage may be on the rocks after she ditched her wedding ring.
The pair will reportedly continue to co-host “Your Mama’s House” despite their breakup.
However, the couple hasn’t done a podcast episode together since late April.
The two have joked about marriage on podcasts and on stage for years.
“I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s great. And I want to punch him in the stupid face all day, every day,” Pasitsky, who is also a makeup entrepreneur, said in her 2017 Netflix special “Mother Inferior.”
Back in 2019, Segura joked that the key to their marriage was “intimidation and fear.”
“They have had a special and rewarding relationship, building one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, raising two children,” a source told TMZ, naming their sons.
“They are taking different paths moving forward while continuing their dedication to children.”
