Comedian Tom Segura hinted at his split from wife Kristina Pacitsky by ditching his wedding ring on the latest episode of his podcast.
Segura hung up his ring for Monday’s episode of the podcast “2 Bears, 1 Cave,” which he co-hosts with friend Bert Kreischer.
The hour-long episode aired on the same day as news of Segura and Pasitsky’s separation.
Segura has worn his wedding ring on all of his previous podcasts, including the June 29 episode of “2 Bears, 1 Cave.”
According to TMZ, Segura, 47, and Pasitsky, 50, separated in the past few months after 18 years of marriage.
The former couple, who are parents to sons Ellis, born in 2016, and Julian, born in 2018, founded the podcast network YMH Studios and co-host the popular podcast Your Mom’s House, which debuted in 2012.
The two have not filmed an episode of “Your Mama’s House” together since late April, when Segura was wearing a wedding ring.
TMZ reported that Segura and Pacitsky will continue to co-host the podcast despite their split.
“They had a special and productive relationship, built one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry, and, more importantly, raised two children,” a source told the outlet.
“They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining committed to their children,” the source added.
Page Six has not yet received a response from representatives for Mr. Segura and Mr. Pacitsky.
The comedian, who married in November 2008, often discusses his marriage on both his podcast and independent stand-up shows.
In 2019, Segura joked on a comedy show that the key to their marriage was “intimidation and fear.”
“My wife is Kim Jong Il and I am a citizen of North Korea,” he began. “Every day there is a series of interrogations that lead to an impending execution.”
Pasitsky also teased Segura in his 2017 Netflix special “Mother Inferior.”
“I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s a wonderful person,” she said. “And I want to punch him in his stupid face all day, every day.”
She added: “It’s not a big thing to want to kill your spouse. It’s a small thing.”
