The fifth “Hotel Transylvania” movie, “The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania,” will be released in theaters on October 8th.
Sony Pictures will distribute the film in North America, with Amazon MGM Studios overseeing international distribution. Jennifer Kruska and Alan Hawkins are attached to direct the fifth film, with Lawrence Jonas producing and Genndy Tartakovsky and Michelle Murdocca serving as executive producers.

In this latest installment, Dracula lives happily in retirement as his daughter Mavis takes over the reins of the legendary Monster Hotel. But when a series of eerie and unexplained events sends chills through the resort, Drac Pak embarks on his most captivating adventure yet, unraveling the mystery behind “The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania.”

The original “Hotel Transylvania” was released in theaters in 2012 and grossed $355 million worldwide. The film’s success launched a worldwide series. The sequels, Hotel Transylvania 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, grossed $475 million and $530 million worldwide, respectively. The fourth film, Hotel Transylvania: Transmania, was released exclusively on Prime Video in 2022.
