The stars aligned to celebrate the opening of former President Barack Obama’s Presidential Center.

The event, held in Chicago on Thursday, was attended by Michelle Obama, Tom Hanks, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder, Tyler Perry, Bruce Springsteen and Oprah Winfrey.

Aguilera performed at the high-profile event, along with Springsteen, Wonder and John Legend, as former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton and Valerie Jarrett watched in the audience.

Pearl Jam singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and rappers Common, Marc Anthony and Jennifer Hudson also wowed the crowd with special performances.

Former Presidents Joe Biden and George W. Bush, as well as former Vice President Kamala Harris, appeared in good spirits as they sat with other attendees.

Additionally, Michelle and Barack’s daughters Sasha and Malia also joined in the celebration, appearing on the main stage with their famous parents.

The four family members watched the ceremony through bulletproof glass.

Although several former presidents attended the ceremony, President Donald Trump was notably absent.

The number of participants was limited as it was an invite-only event. But thousands of people gathered at nearby Midway Plaisance City Park for a watch party.

The Obama Center is a 19-acre campus located in historic Jackson Park on the south side of the state.

The expansive campus includes the Museum of Democracy, a library, a Women’s Garden honoring the state’s women leaders, a small lake with a trail known as the Wetland Walk, and an NBA regulation-sized court.

Additional immersive experiences on-site include the Eleanor Roosevelt Fruit and Vegetable Garden, where guests can learn how to grow their own food, a playground, and an expansive 58,000-square-foot lawn perfect for picnicking and lounging.

There is also a performing arts building known as the Forum, where performances are held in the Elie Wiesel Auditorium and the creative community can gather in the Hadiya Pendleton Atrium.

The highly anticipated $850 million campus will open on Friday, June 15, after more than a decade of construction.
