Lucas Gage is ready to trade Hollywood for the high seas.
The actor and self-proclaimed Bravo superfan tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that there’s one reality show he’d give up everything to be a part of. And I’m not kidding about his level of commitment.
“Tomorrow I want to go ‘below deck’ and be a deckhand,” Gage says. “I’m ready to risk everything.”
The “White Lotus” alum already has her dream crew in mind, in case Bravo comes calling.
“Me and Captain Sandy are just hanging out in the Mediterranean,” he quipped of “Below Deck Mediterranean” star Captain Sandy Yawn. “She runs a solid ship. Aisha (Scott) doesn’t play around.”
But before he boards the yacht, he has one more casting request.
“Bring Hannah (Ferrier) back!” Gage says, referring to fan-favorite Chief Stew, who was famously pulled from the series in 2020.
In fact, the actor has no interest in Ferrier’s brief cameo. Ferrier will make a surprise appearance on this season’s “Below Deck Med.” He wants a real deal.
“Give her full time!” he declares.
When Gage isn’t immersing herself in Bravo, she closely follows the world of pop music and is particularly excited about comedian-turned-pop star Meg Stalter’s recent musical endeavors.
“I’m going to connect her, because she’s my girlfriend, Meg Stalter. I have to connect her music right now,” he says. “It’s very good. It’s a hit. It’s beautifully produced. Her voice is actually very good.”
The actor recently witnessed Stalter’s performance at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles and was struck by the audience’s reaction to songs like “Prettyest Girl in America” and “Gay.”
“I saw her at (We Ho) Pride and she killed it,” he recalls. “People forgot about her. I’m really proud of her.”
Gage has a deep love for pop music. He lights up as he recalls seeing Ashlee Simpson perform at WeHo Pride, and credits one of her early albums with helping shape his childhood.
“I saw Ashlee Simpson.[She]was incredible,” he says. “‘Piece of Me’, ‘Autobiography’…that album changed me when I was a kid.”
And when it comes to the greatest pop stars of all time, there’s one undisputed queen in his eyes.
“Britney (Spears) is the blueprint for everything (pop girl),” Gage says. “She’s the best. ‘Lucky’ is a song I listened to over and over again when I was a kid.”
When asked to name her pop girl Mount Rushmore, Gage quickly rattled off a few icons.
“I think I have to pick Britney, Christina[Aguilera]and Doja[Cat],” he said before adding another current favorite. “I’m obsessed with Kim Petras’ new album right now. I think it’s bop after bop. It’s incredible.”
Gage spoke with Virtual Reali-Tea while promoting HealthySexual, a Gilead-funded program that aims to encourage honest and open-minded conversations about sexual health and empower people to take control of their health.
Page Six For the latest on reality TV…
“I’m really passionate about this partnership because it’s great to be part of something that I’m passionate about and hopefully be part of the generation that ends HIV,” he says. “You wouldn’t believe that.”
The actor added that this initiative fills an important educational gap that he experienced as a child.
“This is something I actually care about and wish I had known when I was younger and didn’t have the resources that we have now,” Gage says.
Whether he’s campaigning to celebrate Hannah Ferrier’s return to Bravo, championing Meg Stalter’s pop career, or helping break down the stigma surrounding sexual health, one thing is clear: Gage isn’t afraid to speak up about the things he loves.
And if Captain Sandy is recruiting, he’s already packed his bags.
