Spice Girls singer Melanie Chisholm reportedly tied the knot with model Chris Dingwall in a romantic country wedding.
According to the Daily Mail, fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner and Melanie Brown have joined Mel C, also known as Sporty Spice.
Scarlett, her 17-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with Thomas Starr, was reportedly the singer’s bridesmaid.
Chisholm wore an all-white backless dress designed by Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, and carried a bouquet of wildflowers as she exchanged vows with Dingwall on Saturday at Cumbria country house in the Lake District, the outlet said.
“It was a gift from Victoria and they are really close,” a source told the Mail on Sunday about Beckham. “Victoria would have liked to have been there if she could.”
A source close to the fashion designer told the magazine that she was “so happy” to be able to create the dress for her former bandmate.
“She was in the US with David and of course the World Cup plans had been set for a long time so she was sad about not being able to take part there,” they added. “But she wished Mel all the best on his special day from afar.”
Guests reportedly described the weekend ceremony as “perfect”, despite a herd of cows reportedly running towards the venue as the couple stood at the altar during the “intimate” celebration.
“Mel and Chris wanted a low-key wedding. She wanted something small and very classy, not a big, flashy day,” the source explained, adding that the songstress “swore she would never get married and a big wedding just wasn’t for her.”
They added that the outdoor setting was “the perfect venue for them, totally unobtrusive but in the most beautiful location and everyone had the most wonderful time.”
“Victoria wasn’t able to attend, but she loves Mel so I’m sure she would have given him a wonderful present,” they revealed.
Representatives for Mr. Chisholm did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.
Chisholm, 52, and Dingwall, who is said to be in her 40s, first met on the popular dating app Raya in 2023.
“I thought, ‘Well, he’s really cute. This is worth pursuing,'” Chisholm said of meeting him in a November 2025 appearance on the Life Uncut podcast.
“He’s one of those people who can’t be proactive in your business at all, right? He’s quietly supportive on the sidelines,” she said at the time. “And he’s great.”
