Selena Gomez and husband Benny Blanco had a date night in Los Angeles over the weekend.
On November 15th, the newlyweds were spotted leaving Mediterranean restaurant Saffy’s. Gomez wore an all-black look with a graphic T-shirt, long trench coat, slacks, boots, and a matte Louis Vuitton bag. She wore her hair down and accessorized with simple hoop earrings.
Gomez and Blanco had a lot to celebrate. Both recently received Grammy nominations for Best Dance-Pop Recording for their song “Bluest Flame” from the album I Said I Love You First. This song was also co-written with Charli XCX.
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Blanco talked about what it was like working with Gomez.
“You know, Selena has a really easy time writing songs about ‘Because she’s the best,'” he said, noting that not every song he makes is autobiographical. “Songs have multiple meanings. Sometimes when I write a song, people think it’s about the woman[I’m dating]but it’s actually about my relationship with my mother.”
He also said that Gomez is the female artist who has given him the most wisdom. “I learned from Selena that with patience and love for others, everything becomes so much easier,” he told ELLE.
