Sacha Baron Cohen appeared at Wimbledon dressed as the iconic character amid reports that he is secretly filming his new movie Ali G.
Spies spotted the star, wearing a white track jacket with ‘Official Wimbledon Ganja Dealer’ written on the back, sitting in section 215 and in full outrageous character mode in the stands.
He also wore a thick gold rope chain and other typical Ali G adornments.
The character, from Staines upon Thames, first appeared on Britain’s The 11 O’Clock Show as the infamous ‘voice of Da Yoff’.
And just like his “Borat” character, guests on Ali G’s show were usually fooled by the star into thinking he was the real deal. Ali G later got his own show and movie.
A representative for the star had no comment.
Cohen, 54, uploaded it to Instagram on Sunday and was also seen channeling the character from the stands.
“I’ll be back! And if you make a fuss at Wimbledore Final Look-in 2, I’ll be here once I hook up 🌱🍄❄️💊💉 DM me, especially if you fit,” he captioned the clip.
The iconic actor wasn’t the only celebrity to compete in this year’s star-studded athletic competition.
Kate Middleton has made multiple appearances at Wimbledon this month. Most recently, the Princess of Wales attended the men’s singles final in London on Sunday alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Members of the royal family received a standing ovation from A-list stars including Nicole Kidman, Andrew Garfield, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Hiddleston and Anna Wintour as they made their way to the Royal Box.
Other celebrities appearing at Wimbledon this year include Lily Collins, Cynthia Erivo, Stanley Tucci, Keira Knightley, Dustin Hoffman and Tom Hiddleston.
This is not the first time Cohen will be competing at Wimbledon this year. He was previously spotted wearing what appeared to be a white linen suit with a green button-down shirt on day 13 of the iconic tennis tournament on Saturday.
