Rumer Willis’ ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas has denied allegations of abuse and accused the singer of exploiting his daughter online.
TMZ reported on Wednesday that despite Willis’ bombshell statements due to their ongoing child custody battle, the singer claimed in new legal documents that he never acted “aggressively or inappropriately” towards Willis.
Thomas also claimed that Willis used her 3-year-old daughter, Louetta, in sponsored “adult sexual humor” content, which she did not consent to.
Thomas said he is an active father who FaceTimes his toddler every day, even though Willis, 37, has forbidden him from seeing her and her “situation” has changed.
The Common Ground singer also claimed that the “Now and Then” star initially moved to Idaho with his daughter to escape the toxic air during the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.
However, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter is said to have since sought permanent residence in the mid-northern state.
Additionally, Thomas denied allegations that he was using drugs and not paying child support, and said he was willing to donate $2,350 of his monthly income.
He also asked for a custody schedule for visitation and communication “to stabilize a chaotic and unreasonable situation for Louetta.”
A representative for Mr. Loomer did not immediately respond to Page Six for comment.
Last week, the Sorority Row star accused Thomas of “constant domestic violence” in a new document after Thomas requested custody and visitation rights for her child in July 2025, according to Us Weekly.
Rumer, who requested primary custody, argued that Thomas had a “persistent pattern” of “erratic emotional abuse” that could be carried out in front of Ruetta ahead of their split in August 2024.
“He engaged in continuous coercive control through long-term, cyclical verbal attacks that he was unable or unwilling to stop. (He) engaged in these types of attacks for more than six hours at a time, which became daily,” court documents state.
The “Hostages” star claimed that Thomas’ “erratic and bizarre” behavior “escalated” after their daughter was born in April 2023.
“I always tried to keep the peace and walk on eggshells,” she claimed. “He wanted to isolate me from my friends and family. He kept calling me a liar for no reason. He always told me I was a bad girlfriend.”
Rumer continued. “He was acting paranoid that my mother and I were trying to separate him. When Louetta was a newborn, he got very angry with me because I wouldn’t let his mother smoke pot in the house.”
The internet personality claimed that Thomas’ actions had “traumatized” her daughter and cited Thomas’ actions as a reason for not wanting him to have visitation rights “without a 730 child custody evaluation.”
Rumer also accused him of being “so high” that he couldn’t look at Louetta “for even a few minutes before falling off the couch.” Loomer claimed that Louetta once fell out of bed in November 2023.
Moore also added to the allegations by claiming that Thomas was aggressive when Louetta was born and had “no consideration for Rumer, the baby, the process or anyone else.”
Thomas initially responded to the allegations by saying, “I did not engage in any form of domestic violence, including active coercive control. (Our) relationship was unhealthy and ended appropriately, but there was no violence, physical or emotional aggression, or intimidation on my part.”
His lawyer also denounced the claim as “substantially inaccurate.”
