Rebel Wilson has been branded an “abuser” and accused of leaking nude photos of Charlotte McInnes in an explosive defamation legal battle with the “fat” actress.
Mr McInnes made the shocking allegations last Friday when he and Mr Wilson, 46, appeared in a Sydney court in a defamation case, The Sun reported.
The “North Shore” actress reportedly claimed in a sworn statement that Wilson hired someone to hack her Snapchat account three days after McInnes filed a defamation lawsuit against the “Pitch Perfect” star in September 2025.
The hack allegedly sent a nude photo of Ms McInnes that she took on September 28, 2025 and shared with her boyfriend to all of her phone contacts.
Ms McInnes, 27, claimed in a sworn statement that it was “absolutely horrifying and caused a new kind of anxiety”. “Then I wasn’t myself for a while.”
Ms McInnes’ boyfriend, Carlo Boumoulvay, echoed similar sentiments, claiming his girlfriend was “scared” because she believed Wilson was “always watching her”.
“She feared for her safety and felt vulnerable,” Boomlebay said, according to The Sun. “The Rebel posts were really getting to her and hurting her heart.”
However, Wilson denied allegations that he hacked McKins’ Snapchat and leaked nude photos of the actress to all of his contacts.
“For me to remain silent as a hacker is an absolutely outrageous thing to say in court,” replied the “Bridesmaids” star, who directed and co-starred with McInnes in “The Fat.”
Elsewhere in the pair’s bitter legal battle, McInnes accused Wilson of hiring a public relations organization called Agency Group to defame “The Fat” producer Amanda Ghost and her husband Gregor Cameron in August 2024.
Ms. Wilson is said to have denied employment with Agency Group, but it has now been revealed that her former lawyer reportedly had a written agreement in place in which Ms. Wilson agreed to pay the company $25,000 a month.
The Sun also reported that staff at an agency group described Wilson as a “shithole” after a heated exchange with the “Jojo Rabbit” actress.
Representatives for Mr. Wilson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Ms McInnes sued Ms Wilson for defamation in September 2025, accusing the “Isn’t It Romantic” star of damaging her character by claiming that Ms Wilson had been sexually harassed by Ghost and accusing them of colluding to cover it up.
The sexual harassment allegations reportedly relate to an incident in 2023 in which Ms McInnes and Mr Ghost bathed together after swimming at Bondi Beach.
Wilson claimed that McInnes told her he was uncomfortable during the bathing incident, and that McInnes dropped the charges after Ghost offered her a career opportunity.
“The central issues in this case are whether Ms. McInnes told Ms. Wilson that Mr. Ghost had asked her to shower and bathe with him, whether she said it made her uncomfortable, and whether she later changed her story,” Dawid Sibtein, the comedian’s lawyer, said during the nine-day trial.
Meanwhile, Wilson is also facing a defamation lawsuit from “Fat” producers Ghost, Cameron and Vince Holden, who claim he embezzled funds for the musical comedy and engaged in “inappropriate behavior” on set.
