Noah Beck will play a new lifeguard in the Baywatch reboot

Now that the sun is out, all eyes are on Noah Beck, the latest actor to join the cast of Fox’s “Baywatch” reboot.

The soccer ball-throwing TikTok star will play the series regular role of Luke, a rookie lifeguard who comes from a family of firefighters. According to the character’s description, “He’s the ultimate glamorous Southern California beach boy, a surfer and a flirt, but one of the best when it comes to saving lives. He has some growing up to do, and Baywatch is a big part of that, especially his relationship with Hobie, to whom he’s a mentor and second father.”

Beck joins an ensemble led by Stephen Amell, who plays Hobie Buchannon, a grown-up version of the original series’ wild child. Jessica Belkin plays daughter Charlie Vail, Hussie Harrison plays Nat, Thaddeus LaGrone plays Brad, and Brooks Nader plays Selene. Original series star David Chokachi will return in the reboot as Cody Madison.

The Baywatch reboot is scheduled to air on FOX during the 2026-2027 broadcast season. The new version, a sequel to the monocultural sensation starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, is being showrun by Matt Nix, who serves as executive producer along with pilot director McG, Michael Burke, Greg Bonnan, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. Co-produced by Fox and Fremantle.

Thanks to $21.1 million in California tax incentives, “Baywatch” will begin filming this spring between Los Angeles’ Venice Beach and the Fox Studios property in Century City. The series tells the story of Hobie (Amell), who follows in the footsteps of his father Mitch (played by Hasselhoff in the original) and becomes the captain of Baywatch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when the daughter he never knew, Charlie (Belkin), shows up at his door hoping to carry on the family legacy.

In February, Fox hosted a large public casting call for the reboot. Variety was in attendance along with 2,000 actors auditioning for roles ranging from extras to series regulars.

Beck’s acting credits include “Sidelined” and Danny Ramirez’s upcoming directorial debut, “Baton.” He is repped by UTA, Maxwell Mitchson of Underscore Talent, and Goodman Genow Schenkman Smelkinson + Christopher, LLP.
