Nicki Minaj, who supports the MAGA movement, is scheduled to attend this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, also known as “Geek Prom,” this Saturday in Washington, D.C.
According to Page Six, the rapper will be a guest on Fox News. She will also attend the network’s VIP cocktail party at the Washington Hilton before the event, rubbing shoulders with Turning Point USA’s Erica Kirk.
Minaj, 43, has recently become more open about her politics than ever before.
She appeared on stage with Kirk at Turning Point USA’s America Fest in December and declared her support for Trump.
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for the president,” Minaj said at the event.
In January, he attended the Trump Account Launch Summit in Washington, D.C., and shook hands with the president.
Retired NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore and new Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullin are also on the Fox News guest list, which will also feature on-air talent including Bret Baier, Martha McCollum, Harris Faulkner, Shannon Bream and Steve Doocy.
Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and network president and executive editor Jay Wallace will also be in attendance.
President Trump will return to the dinner this year after more than a decade of boycott.
The mentalist Oz Perlman will be the headline entertainer and WHCA president, and CBS News White House correspondent Weijia Jiang will give a speech.
There are lots of parties happening around the main event, including parties hosted by MS Now and NBC.
Vanity Fair’s new editor, Mark Guiducci, makes his WHCD debut with bash, co-produced with CAA.
“Fantastic Four” star Michael Chiklis will host the Creative Coalition Dinner at PubKey in Washington, D.C.
Talent agency UTA, Oliver Darcy’s Status, Pac, YouTube, Crooked Media and even LGBTQ dating app Grindle are also hosting parties.
