On Monday, I’ll wear a pink bikini.
Molly Sims, my little twin, stood by the water with her daughter Scarlett Rose in coordinating pink bathing suits.
“While in Miami 🌴😜,” the actress captioned the Instagram photo.
In the first photo, Sims is standing in profile, with her left hand raised, her left index finger in the air, and her right hand on her hip.
In the second photo, the long-legged former model and young Scarlett throw up a peace sign and hug each other.
Scarlett, 10, wears a snapper lock ruched triangle bikini ($52).
Sims spent the holidays with her family, including her husband Scott Stuber. Over the past few weeks, she has shared several images of her children playing with their cousins.
“The sun is finally coming out,” she wrote in one selfie, alluding to the less-than-ideal weather she experienced during her trip to South Florida.
But it certainly looked like she was able to enjoy some fun in the sun with her little ones.
The 52-year-old is no stranger to taking fun bikini photos. In April, she shared a candid photo of herself in Cabo wearing a black and gold two-piece that looked totally ageless.
But when she posed for the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2024, she spoke candidly about her strikingly youthful appearance.
“I hate it when people say, ‘Oh my God. She doesn’t look like a 50-year-old.'” Listen, I’m not trying to look like a 30-year-old. I’m not trying to look like a 20-year-old. I try to look the best I can,” she told Us Weekly at the time.
Sims doesn’t often post photos of her children on social media, but she’s the latest in a string of celebrities to have twinned with mini-me. The celebrity gene pool seems to be strong, with lookalikes popping up on Instagram during the winter holidays.
Just this weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow and her daughter Apple Martin twinned on the red carpet in navy pajama sets, following Martin in Paltrow’s vintage Calvin Klein dress.
Just before Christmas, Reese Witherspoon also shared a similar sweet photo with her daughter Ava Phillippe.
I hope that this youthful glow will be inherited here as well.
