It’s a Dunphy family reunion.
Modern Family star Ariel Winter and Nolan Gould, who played Alex and Luke Dunphy on 11 seasons of the ABC sitcom, are now roommates in Los Angeles.
“It’s funny, now that I’m spending more time here[in Los Angeles]I’m renting a house with Nolan,” Wintour told People magazine. According to the publication, she previously lived in Nashville with her ex-boyfriend Luke Benward.
“People ask about the ‘Modern Family’ reboot, but Nolan and I are real roommates now,” she added. “So it’s like we’re rebooting our own little ‘Modern Family,’ but it’s just the two of us living together. So I see him every day.”
Wintour told People that she and Gould are considering letting the audience into their current lives. “I’m not going to lie, it’s so funny when we sit there at night and watch ‘Temptation Island’ or something like that together,” she said. “So we thought about it. We thought people would find this really interesting.”

Winter, 28, and Gould, 27, were 11 and 10 when they met on the first season of Modern Family. They played the two younger brothers of the central Dunphy family, which also includes father Phil (Ty Burrell), mother Claire (Julie Bowen), and sister Haley (Sarah Hyland).
Modern Family, created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, was a huge success and became ABC’s most-watched comedy during its run. The show won 22 Emmy Awards and received 85 nominations.
There have been no spinoffs or reboots of Modern Family yet, just various commercials in which some of the cast members reprise their roles from the sitcom. Jesse Tyler Ferguson said producers were “tossing around the idea” of a spinoff centered on him and Eric Stonestreet, but “it just didn’t work out” because Ferguson wanted to pursue other projects.
