“Love Island USA” contestant Mackenzie “Kenzie” Annis gave fans euphoria on the Season 8 premiere.
Viewers compared the 24-year-old Annis to Sidney Sweeney’s Euphoria character Cassie Howard because of her actions in the first episode of the reality show Peacock.
“Kenzie looks like Cassie from Euphoria went to Love Island!” one fan wrote in a meme of the HBO series Sweeney to X. “She looks like Sidney Sweeney!”
The same fan predicted that Kenzie would “make a fuss on the show.”
Another viewer tweeted, “Kenzie gives s3 Cassie some realism.”
“Kathy Howard walked so Kensi could run,” someone joked.
Another fan tweeted a photo of Kenzie and Cassie and wrote, “Ever since I was told Kenzie looks like Cassie, I can’t see her anymore.”
Another fan tweeted: “Kenzie’s photo keeps showing up on my timeline so I keep thinking it’s a still of Cassie from Euphoria.”
Sweeney, 28, played Cassie on all three seasons of “Euphoria.” In season 3, the character became a model for OnlyFans, with Sweeney filming many racy scenes.
Kenzie, a native of Kennesaw, Georgia, who just graduated from nursing school, was one of 12 contestants introduced on Tuesday’s Love Island premiere.
But before she set foot in the villa, fans rejoiced when photos surfaced of Kenzie posing with friends in MAGA costumes in front of a Trump flag.
However, Kenzie’s father, Tim, told TMZ that his daughter is not a supporter of President Donald Trump.
Her brother Alden also spoke out against political statements in a TikTok video.
“My family and I are very opposed to the Trump administration,” he said. “We never voted for Donald Trump. I see what people say about my sister online and it really weighs on me.”
Alden called Kenzie a “wonderful woman” and a “great role model” and said it was “really painful to hear these false accusations” about her sister.
In a pre-season interview, Kenzie spoke about what she hopes to gain from her Love Island experience.
“My parents still love each other and it’s wonderful to see their marriage developing. It’s been 30 years,” she said. “I want that kind of love too.”
“I was once in love, but I’ve been single for a year and a half now,” Anis continued. “I’m so hungry for some boys.”
