New chapter, new chop.
Lori Loughlin, 61, made fans do a double take at the opening gala of LACMA’s new David Geffen Gallery on Thursday night, sporting an above-the-shoulder haircut and a sparkling silver dress.
The Hallmark star wore a silver sequined dress by Rebecca Vallance ($1,360), a square-neck dress with crystal-trimmed straps, an open back, and a thigh-high slit.
She completed her look with silver ankle-strap stiletto sandals, diamond stud earrings, and metallic nail polish.
Her bouncy new bob, courtesy of hairstylist David Nauman, had the ends subtly poking out and soft bangs flowing to the side. It’s a departure from the long brunette waves she sported on recent red carpets.
Daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli, 26, also joined her mother on the carpet, looking glamorous in an Elie Saab Fall 2026 dress with a black lace bodice and voluminous satin skirt.
The influencer’s ensemble was put together by stylist Sienna Montesano Gonez.
This was another strong performance for Loughlin, who received positive attention after attending the Women’s Cancer Research Foundation’s “An Unforgettable Night” gala last month.
The When Calls the Heart actress has been slowly returning to the scene since splitting from husband Mossimo Giannulli in October after nearly 28 years of marriage.
A source told Us Weekly earlier this month that she has “put herself back together” and is dating again, with the source saying they are “just having fun and keeping things light and casual.”
Thursday’s black tie affair launched LACMA’s much-anticipated Peter Zumthor-designed David Geffen Gallery, with a strong guest list that includes Alicia Keys, Sharon Stone, Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum and Paris Hilton.
Loughlin is set to return to the role of Abigail Stanton on When Calls the Heart when Season 14 airs later this year.
