The Lonely Island’s Jorma Taccone didn’t like working with Kevin Spacey on “Saturday Night Live.”
During Friday’s episode of The Daily Beast’s “Obsessed” podcast, the comedian recalled that Spacey “made me feel very uncomfortable” when they passed each other on the May 20, 2006 episode.
At the time, Spacey was hosting the show, while Taccone and Lonely Island members Andy Samberg and Akiva Shafer were working on the NBC show as digital shorts producers.
Taccone cited Spacey, 66, as “one of the people I wasn’t really into” when he was on the sketch show.
“I didn’t enjoy it,” Taccone added. “And I felt very uncomfortable around him.”
Taccone had no further comment about the “House of Cards” alum.
A representative for Spacey did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
In addition to Spacey, Taccone revealed that he liked every star he hosted during his tenure on SNL.
He particularly praised Steve Martin, who was “polite and kind,” and Ben Stiller, who was “a lot of fun” to work with.
“Maybe people are on their best behavior,” Taccone said of the hosts. “Or maybe they’re just being open to how this crazy system works.”
Spacey has hosted “SNL” twice. The first time was on January 11, 1997 with musical guest Beck, and again in 2006 with musical guest Nelly.
During the opening monologue of later episodes, Spacey jokingly compared the turnout in the 2004 presidential election to that of “American Idol.”
Spacey also appeared in a digital short called “Andy’s Excuse,” where he performed a skit with Samberg, 47.
Spacey was ousted a decade later after more than 30 men, including “Star Trek: Discovery” actor Anthony Rapp, accused him of inappropriate behavior and sexual assault. The allegations began to surface in 2017.
Netflix ultimately eliminated Spacey’s iconic role in the hugely popular House of Cards, which ended in 2018, with co-star Robin Wright taking over the reins.
Spacey was acquitted in the headline-grabbing case against Mr. Rapp, 54, in 2022, and then acquitted of assault charges against four men in a high-profile London trial the following summer.
Last month, she reached an out-of-court settlement with three men who had accused her of sexual assault.
The “American Beauty” actor’s recent focus has been on his return to Hollywood.
While accepting the Lifetime Achievement Award at an event in Cannes, France last May, Spacey described the past few years as “challenging” but insisted he was “not angry, bitter (and) resentful” about what happened.
Instead, Spacey claimed to be “more present, more loving, more understanding, more tolerant than ever before.”
He returned to television in December 2025 with “Mini Market.”
