Lenny leather never goes out of style.
The 62-year-old stars on the cover of the latest issue of Men’s Health Magazine, where he talks about his workout routine and his most vexing wardrobe choices.
Although he is well known for working out in leather pants or jeans, there is a somewhat logical and rational explanation for this sartorial decision.
“I perform on stage wearing things like leather and denim, so these are the pants I wear for training,” he said.
And considering practicality, “it also means you can train anytime, anywhere.”
As for tracking his physique? It’s all about how the clothes fit.
He wears just a size 28 pants, and says, “You can tell everything by the way you wear your pants. For example, if your pants are a little tight, you know you’re out of shape.”
He continued, “My friend Denzel Washington told me these words: ‘Pants don’t lie, panties don’t lie.”’
Back in 2024, when Kravitz posted a video of herself lifting with a trainer at the gym on Instagram, fans were perplexed by the singer’s outfit.
“Man! Boots and leather pants while working out is crazy! Always on brand! 🔥🔥,” one wrote, while another agreed: “Leather pants, mesh top and sunglasses at the gym. Lenny is the man!”
Around the same time, the performer said in an interview with Variety, “When I’m not doing cardio, I always train in leather pants or jeans and boots,” and added, “When I’m doing cardio, I sweat all over the place, so of course I end up wearing sweats. But when I’m lifting weights, I don’t sweat as much.”
Ironically, for the cover shoot for the latest issue of Men’s Health, Kravitz wears a mesh tank top and sweatpants.
