Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes have broken up for the second time.
The two broke up last year, but got back together.
Sources say Ballerini is “done” with the relationship.
On February 6th, a source told Us Weekly that Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes have ended their relationship for the second time, just weeks after they announced they were back together.
“Kelsey and Chase have broken up again, just recently,” the source said, adding that Kelsey is “taking it better” than when things first seemed like they were over and “over.”
However, Stokes is “not ready to give up on” their relationship yet. Although she unfollowed him on Instagram, Stokes appears to still be following his ex-girlfriend.
TMZ spoke to another source, who said that “the relationship has come full circle,” but that he doesn’t know why they ultimately broke up. Ballerini attended last weekend’s Grammy Awards solo and was nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album.
The former couple was first reported to be dating in January 2023 after they were spotted at the College Football Playoff National Championship in Los Angeles. Their breakup was first reported in September 2025, and they got back together a few months later in November.
Stokes and Ballerini have commented on their relationship in the past. In December, the country music artist shared his thoughts on love on his Instagram Stories, writing, “It’s been a troubling year for the heart, a troubling year for what comes in from the outside, a troubling year for the way it’s been drawn out of our hands. But… All I want to say is that I truly love Love and that I don’t want to share any more of my personal life with you indefinitely.
