Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker suffered a tragic miscarriage after just six months of dating.
The couple made the heartbreaking revelation in the documentary “Travis Barker: Louder than Fear,” which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday night.
“We were devastated when we lost our baby,” Kardashian said in the documentary, according to Us Weekly. “We cried for days.”
The two explained that the Poosh creator got pregnant six months after they started dating in 2021.
Kardashian and Barker, who married in May 2022, knew they were expecting a baby girl and wanted to name her Tulip.
However, at a medical examination at three months old, the couple were told that the baby was no longer having a heartbeat.
Elsewhere in the documentary, Kardashian detailed her and her husband’s ongoing efforts to conceive, including five IVF attempts over an eight-month period.
In May 2023, she and Barker announced that they had “officially finished” IVF and were hoping to conceive naturally.
The following month, Kardashian announced her pregnancy during the drummer’s Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles.
While her partner performed on stage, the reality star held up a sign that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.”
They revealed the boy’s gender at a rock and roll themed party.
During her pregnancy, Kardashian required “emergency fetal surgery” to save her young child’s life.
Kardashian told her Instagram followers that she was “forever grateful” for Barker’s support after undergoing surgery in September.
The couple gave birth to son Rocky, now 2 years old, in November 2023.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is also the mother of three children, Mason (16), Penelope (13), and Reign (11) with ex Scott Disick.
Barker shares Landon, 22, and Alabama, 19, with ex-wife Shana Moakler. The musician also maintains a close relationship with his oldest stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya.
“Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear” will be available to stream on Hulu starting August 13th.
