Tom Brady and Keegan-Michael Key are among the guests confirmed to appear on Tubi’s eight-episode soccer-themed talk show, set to coincide with the 2026 World Cup.
“Ted Lasso” star Brendan Hunt is also scheduled to appear. Team USA and World Cup hopefuls Weston McKennie and Matt Turner. Darren Lewis, Chairman of the Sports Journalists Association. and London-born NFL New York Giants player Jermaine Elemunor. More guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
Hosted by Fox Sports’ Rob Gronkowski and Jameis Winston, “The Other Football” launches on Tubi on Wednesday, May 27th, with new episodes added every Wednesday, and the series finale on Friday, July 17th. Brady’s Shadow Lion Production Singles is producing the series.
“Jamis and I know football, and now it’s time to learn ‘the other football,'” Gronkowski said in a statement. “We’re diving into the world of soccer with experts and great guests, and we hope that by the end of the series you’ll actually understand what we’re talking about.”
Winston also added in a statement: “Pairing up with Gronk on ‘The Other Football’ has been an absolute blessing and so much fun. The Shadow Lion series is executive produced by Gilad Haas, Jeff Fine, Lior Haas, Philip Byron, and Timothy Fornara. Subha Agarwal, Michael Lux and Danny Healy serve as producers.
Brady launched Shadow Lion in 2017 with Kevin Bonner, Gilad Haas, Jeff Fine and manager Ben Rawitz. Former Spring Hill executive Philip Byron joined the company late last year and expanded Shadow Lion into film, scripted, documentary, unscripted, digital and live programming.
Shadow Lion’s current work also includes Fox Sports’ untitled Michigan football documentary series “All In: IndyCar,” “Sundae Conversation with Caleb Pressley,” “Pound4Pound with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo,” and the just-announced trading card trivia format “Chasers,” which debuted on YouTube last week.
