Amanda Batula and West Wilson surprised fans on Tuesday’s first episode of the Summer House season 10 reunion by revealing the first time they slept together.
Wilson, 31, and Batula, 34, told host Andy Cohen and the rest of the show’s cast that they first kissed “at the end of February” after brunch.
Batula then addressed his bombshell with Amanda Batula, revealing that they slept together “after the statement,” in which he announced that the two were secretly dating, despite the fact that Batula had previously been friends with Miller and Wilson had previously dated Miller.
Bhatura further added. “I mean, it’s not about that night.”
The embattled reality TV couple made shocking statements in March, sparking a maelstrom of drama that left many of the show’s cast members “furious” and “disappointed” with Batula and Wilson.
During the reunion, host Andy Cohen asked who “initiated” the controversial romance, to which Wilson replied, “I was out and I looked at Amanda and said, ‘Are you a little crazy or is there something going on?'”
Mr Wilson also claimed that the shocking remarks that led to Mr Miller collapsing outside the Hermès boutique were “incredibly rushed because the whole thing became insane”.
“There are so many layers, so many reasons why this is confusing and doesn’t make sense,” he argued.
Castmate Karl Radke responded, “Isn’t that enough to say, ‘What are we doing here?'”
Miller, 30, took something else out of the comment, saying, “I mean, it was (fully) intentional for you guys to be talking about it.”
“It wasn’t just some drunken thing,” she added. “You guys talked about it. You knew how messed up it was and how weird it was going to be, but you kept going, you chose to do it. You kept going, and you kept it hidden.”
Batula, 34, defended herself by saying, “Sometimes you can’t control who you like or are attracted to,” to which Miller replied, “Actually, you can. If you’re married, you actually can.”
Batula married Kyle Cook in 2021, and the Bravo stars parted ways in January with a joint statement saying they “have mutually decided to amicably separate as husband and wife.”
It is notable that neither Cook nor Miller offered an apology for Batula and Wilson’s bombshell comments. This fact caused Batula to ridicule Miller when he hinted at inaction during the reunion.
The Summer House stars previously claimed their romance began in February, but Southern Charm star Mia Alario, 28, questioned their timeline last month.
She went on a single date with Wilson in September and claimed he was already spending time with Batula.
“I met Amanda at BravoCon[in November]and she actually said she was going on a date at his apartment,” Alario told Andy Cohen on an April episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
Alario described the situation as “awkward” and further claimed that Batula told her that he had given the sports journalist “some advice and some tips” before their date.
“I was like, ma’am, did we get the same tip or what?” Mr. Alario insisted. “Damn. I don’t understand.”
In any case, Alario insisted, “I don’t want to be involved in anything like that.”
Meanwhile, Batula and Wilson fled the country before Tuesday night’s reunion broadcast and were seen photographed at the airport heading to Rome.
