Jamie King’s estranged husband, Austin Sosa, has filed court papers to speed up divorce proceedings with the actress.
According to documents obtained by Page Six, the investors filed a declaration of default or no contest dissolution to quickly finalize the divorce without a trial.
In a June 22 filing, Sosa said he and the “White Chicks” actress “have no assets or debts that can be disposed of by the court.”
He also checked a box indicating he was intentionally waiving his right to receive support from a spouse or partner.
Page Six reached out to both Mr. King and Mr. Sosa, but did not immediately receive a response.
Sosa was seen cozying up to hotelier Vikram Chatwal, and filed for divorce from the “Hart of Dixie” alum in January.
King exclusively told Page Six that he was completely caught off guard by Sosa filing for divorce.
“I was completely blindsided by the divorce papers that came out of nowhere,” the “Sin City” star said in January.
“I was with Austin the night before our marriage became public. Like many marriages, we had our normal challenges, but I truly believed we were working on our relationship,” she added.
King also denied that anything romantic happened between her and Chatwal.
“The recent interactions that have been referred to publicly are strictly professional business meetings and have nothing to do with this private matter,” she told us.
Sosa and King kept their secret marriage a secret. However, Page Six exclusively reported that the two got married in April 2025.
In his divorce filing, Sosa listed the date of separation as November 11, 2025, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
King has two sons, James, 12, and Leo, 10, with ex-husband Kyle Newman, whom she was married to from 2007 to 2023.
The ex-lovers have filed for divorce, accusing King of abusing the filmmaker.
Ms Newman denied her claims, claiming the Pearl Harbor star was a “chronic drug addict and alcoholic” and was allegedly “gross” and “drunk” while the children were in his care.
Newman and King settled their divorce in September 2023.
The following month, the “My Bloody Valentine 3D” actress lost custody of the boys after failing to complete a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.
