Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to wed in one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of all time.
The pop star and NFL athlete announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, after two years of dating. Since then, fans have been clamoring to know everything from who Swift’s bridesmaids will be, which celebrities will be on the guest list, and where the couple will say “I do.”

When will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey get married?
A source told Page Six in April 2026 that Swift and Kelce’s wedding will no longer have a shelf life, and their big day will now take place on July 3, 2026.
But the choice isn’t surprising, as Independence Day is known as one of Swift’s favorite holidays. The “Style” singer has thrown lavish parties for fellow celebrities in the past to celebrate patriotic holidays, with past guests including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez.
Where will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey get married?
Sources told Page Six that the couple’s wedding will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Garden is a famous indoor arena that has been home to numerous A-list concerts, including performances by the New York Knicks, Rangers, and Swift over the years.
Sources say Los Angeles-based celebrity wedding planner Marc Seed has been working on the details of Swift and Kelce’s MSG wedding “for months.”
Apparently, the 20,000-seat arena has no events on the calendar from June 29, 2026 to July 6, 2026.
Sources also told Page Six that Kansas City Chiefs players have booked the Marriott Marquis in Midtown before and after the wedding, further noting that the wedding will be held at MSG.
Who’s on the guest list?
Swift and Kelsea’s wedding is sure to be a star-studded one, considering Swift’s A-list friends.
A source told Page Six that Zoe Kravitz received an invitation to the wedding despite rumors of a feud with Swift’s ex, Harry Styles, and that Kravitz is “definitely coming.”
Another longtime friend of Swift’s who earned an invite was Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
A source told Page Six that the pop star took inspiration from Sheeran’s 2018 private wedding page and modeled it on Sheeran’s secret wedding in a similar way.
“To this day, no one knows exactly who attended Ed Sheeran’s wedding, but that’s what this wedding was modeled after,” a source said. “A complete secret.”
TMZ reported that singer Sombre, who Swift has publicly praised, was also in attendance.
Celebrities invited to the wedding reportedly include the Haim sisters, Hadid, Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco, and Cara Delevingne. Hadid and Gomez will also reportedly serve as bridesmaids.
Suki Waterhouse, who opened for Swift on her Elas tour in London, also revealed she had received an invitation, telling Variety in May 2026 that she wanted to borrow ideas from her own wedding to longtime partner Robert Pattinson.
“I’m going to Taylor’s wedding. Then maybe I’ll get some inspiration,” she said. “It’s going to be great.”
Kelce will be joined by Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid. In June 2026, Reed had a tuxedo tailored for the occasion at local shop Peter’s Clothiers.
Kelsey’s Tight End University co-founder George Kittle and his wife Claire were also in attendance and praised the couple while speaking with Page Six in June 2026.
That same month, Kelce apparently held a bachelor party over the weekend, providing further clues as to who else might have received an invite. The athlete partied with close friends including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, former Kansas City Chiefs teammate Ross Travis, and comedian Druskie.
How is New York preparing?
City Hall confirmed to the Post on June 24, 2026, that a permit application for July 2 to July 4, 2026, had been submitted to the city’s Street Permit Office ahead of the July 3, 2026 wedding at Madison Square Garden.
The permit, filed by Winnick Productions, called for the roads surrounding MSG to be closed and a public tent to be set up outside the venue to accommodate between 500 and 999 attendees.
A person familiar with the incident told the Post that the truck likely used 33rd Street to load and unload cargo.
The Post confirmed that New York City will have to prepare for a multi-day event, as Swift and Kelce will hold two rallies. Sources say the couple will host an intimate celebration at MSG on July 2, with an estimated 100 loved ones in attendance.

Page Six exclusively reported that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw will be on stage at Swift and Kelce’s long-awaited wedding on June 27, 2026.
One industry source added at the time: “I’ve heard that Taylor has invited so many people, but it’s going to be bigger than the Met Gala.”
Back in October 2025, Swift also joked that it would be “difficult” to keep her longtime friend Ed Sheeran off stage on her special day.
During an appearance on the Capital FM Breakfast Show, Swift was directly asked if Sheeran would perform at her wedding, and she predicted that Sheeran would be able to bring “energy” to the wedding.
“He was like, ‘I get asked to sing at weddings all the time,'” she said. “It’s like, ‘Ed, if there’s a stage, you know you’re going to be on it.'” He knows what people want and wants to give them what they want. ”
“The funny thing about our friendship is that we both love to perform, we both love to write, and we both love to sing,” Swift added. “We’re like, ‘Oh, don’t make me sing! I get it!'”

Dorothy Silver, Kleinfeld’s bridal merchandising director, predicted to Page Six Style that Swift’s wedding dress choice will be “classic, yet fashionable.”
“When she walks down the aisle, it’s going to be a great, timeless dress,” Silver said.
Kleinfeld’s bridal stylist Morgan McCullough also pointed out that Swift wore a bridal design in her 2021 music video for “I Bet You Think About Me,” which could reflect the outfit she’ll wear on her big day.
“I always remember her music video for ‘I Bet You Think About Me,’ where she wore one of Kleinfeld’s designers, Nicole + Felicia. They created two cascading floral dresses: a white wedding dress and a red version,” McCullough said.
“I think a lot about that dress of Taylor’s from her bridal days: soft and whimsical and feminine but also very classic. I really think that’s what she does,” she continued.
