Go, New York, go!

Knicks owner James Dolan believes his beloved team will win the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.

“I feel like we’re going to win,” he exclusively told Page Six at the premiere of “Vampire Lestat” at the Beacon Theater on Tuesday night. “I really think we’re going to win.”

Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs will be held on June 3rd at Frostbank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Game 3, scheduled for June 8, will be the first game played at Madison Square Garden in front of a capacity crowd.

There is also a possibility that some unknown faces will appear in the “Celebrity Row” for the third round. The pair of seats will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to MSG’s Garden of Dreams Foundation, which supports local children in need.

Dolan said he was “excited,” but said that emotion included, understandably, “a lot of anxiety.”

The Knicks last reached the Finals in 1999 and last won the NBA Championship in 1973, more than 50 years ago.

The businessman also said that he can’t sleep the night before an important match, but he may have problems the night before.

“It’s actually harder to go to sleep after that…because everyone’s feeling better,” he explained.

He also said Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, in which the Knicks came back from a 22-point deficit, was a “top 10” game in history. NBAE (via Getty Images)

Dolan added that the Knicks have won the last 11 games at the Garden, including the now-legendary Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, where the Knicks came back from a 22-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime. This was the biggest playoff upset in franchise history.

When Page Six asked Dolan if it was the “best match” he had ever seen, he replied, “I don’t know if it’s the best match, but it’s definitely in the top 10.”

“Top 10,” we argued, “at least it deserves to be in the top five,” and Dolan wisely said, “That’s top ten.”

Dolan is executive chairman and CEO of Sphere Entertainment and Madison Square Garden Entertainment, as well as Madison Square Garden Sports, which owns the Knicks and the NHL’s New York Rangers.
