Britney Spears’ youngest son, Jayden James Federline, has met his mother for the first time since she entered rehab.
The 19-year-old was spotted picking up a smoothie at Erewhon in Los Angeles on Monday, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
He wore a white tank top, Nike shorts, and sneakers for the low-key outing.
On Sunday, a representative for the Princess of Pop confirmed to Page Six that she voluntarily entered a treatment facility after being arrested for drunk driving last month.
“This was her own choice,” we were told. “This isn’t about one substance in particular, it’s two-fold. This is about Britney putting her mental health first and taking time to focus on what’s important to her.”
“She is diligent about taking care of her health,” the source added. “This is something she really wants to do on her own. This was her own decision.”
Our sources say the entire Spears family, including Jaden and her other son Sean Preston, 20, supports the decision.
On March 4, Spears was taken into custody in Ventura, California, after authorities saw her weaving in and out of lanes. An unknown substance was also allegedly found in her car during her arrest, and she is believed to have been under the influence of a cocktail of alcohol and drugs.
Spears, 44, was released the next morning and is scheduled to appear in court again on May 4, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office arrest records.
In the weeks since her arrest, she has received support from her two sons, despite their past estrangement.
“Her sons are with her now. They love her and want to support her and just want her to feel better,” a source told Page Six.
Last month, the trio also went on a yacht vacation.
Jaden was the first of two sons to reconcile with his mother in 2024.
Although Sean initially rejected Spears’ attempts to get back together, it appears that Sean has brought the two closer together, as Page Six hears that her drunk driving arrest was a wake-up call for the pop star who was in trouble with the law.
“She is devastated,” a source close to the pop princess exclusively told us, noting that the encounter “left her extremely frightened.”
The source also explained that the singer “knows that what happened was very bad and could affect not only her life, but those around her, especially her sons.”
