Gwyneth Paltrow’s signature “Boyfriend Breakfast” evolved over the holidays.
Not only did Paltrow’s lookalike daughter Apple Martin appear in the post-Christmas clip, but the pair also chose to wear matching pajamas for the day.
In the reel, which was shared on Instagram on Sunday morning, Paltrow is seen wearing navy blue long-sleeved pajamas with bright white piping to start her day off slowly.
Martin appears briefly at the beginning of the video wearing the same set, but she has swapped out her long pants for pajama shorts.
The pajamas are from Sarah Alexander and retail for $238 for the long set and $198 for the short version.
With Neil Diamond’s “Cherry Cherry” playing in the background, Paltrow uses leftover filling to make waffles and tops them with sautéed onions, rainbow chard, and a fried egg.
Martin slides into the first video segment and gives his mother a big hug. In the subsequent clip, Paltrow not only cooks up what appears to be a delicious, high-protein “boyfriend breakfast” in her bright white kitchen, but also a glimpse of her dog.
Martin is on winter break from Vanderbilt University and is vacationing in California before finishing his final semester of college.

The 21-year-old has made no waves about following in her mother’s acting footsteps, but she has started out as a model and is currently standing next to Paltrow in GapStudio’s fall 2025 campaign, as well as becoming the latest face of British ready-to-wear brand Self Portrait.
