‘Generation V’ star Jazz Sinclair reacts to ‘The Boys’ spin-off cancellation

“Generation V” star Jaz Sinclair is thanking her fans and her time on the show following the cancellation of her “The Boys” spin-off on Prime Video last week.

“There’s so much I want to say, but today I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m so happy you’re here and so grateful for this amazing experience,” Sinclair wrote on her Instagram Story.

Sinclair stars in “Gen V” as Marie Moreau, a powerful hero who can control blood and manipulate muscle tissue. In the show, she is determined to uncover the truth behind Godolkin University. Season 2 ended with Moreau joining the Starlighter resistance against Homelander (Anthony Starr).

“While we hope we can keep the party going for another season on Godolkin, we are committed to continuing the stories of our Generation V characters in Season 5 of The Boys and other upcoming VCU projects, and we will see them again,” series executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg said in a statement.

“Gen V” originally premiered in 2023, with the second season airing from September to October 2025. “Gen V” characters will appear in future episodes of “The Boys”‘ fifth and final season, according to a person familiar with the situation.

“Generation V” takes place at Godolkin University School of Crime Prevention, where young Supermans are training for a chance to one day join The Seven. The cast of the series included Sinclair, Lise Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Lu, Asa German, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Hamish Linklater.

The parent show “The Boys” is scheduled to end this season, and the only in-universe series currently is “Vought Rising,” which follows the exploits of Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and Stormfront (Aya Cash) in the 1950s, and is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
