Size matters to Gayle King.
The “CBS Mornings” anchor revealed his fetish for large men during an interview on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Wednesday.
When the 71-year-old TV personality was asked if she “would be surprised if people knew” what she was “obsessed with,” she replied, “I like big things in every way, Alex.”
King added, “You can get things done with those big hands, those big chests, those big muscles, those big feet. Do what you want with them.”
The journalist told Cooper, 31, that he “has a great sense of humor. He makes you laugh” and that it “knocks your pants off”.
She also revealed about her “mistakes on first dates” such as smoking, and revealed that she likes men who are a little younger than her. “Someone who picks me up and carries me across the room. And someone who doesn’t say, ‘Oh, my back.'” That’s what I want. ”
“People my age tend to get a little bored,” King says. “I can’t generalize, but this is my experience so far.”
The TV star also revealed her ideal date night.
“I love good restaurants,” she said. “I love movies. I love restaurants and movies. That way we can talk about movies. I love that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Dr. King recalled the moment she caught her then-husband William Bumpass cheating on her with his best friend.
“I went home and got him,” King said of Bumpass, whom she was married to from 1982 to 1993. “‘I thought we were friends!'” King told the woman, who was wrapped in a towel, adding, “I felt so sorry for her.”
Meanwhile, Bumpass came forward on the same day and apologized for his misconduct. “I sincerely apologize to Gail, my daughter Kirby and her husband Virgil, my son William and his wife Elise, and my three grandchildren for the pain I caused decades ago,” he told Page Six.
“Those actions were mine.”
Bumpass said Dr. King “has a right to share the painful events that changed the trajectory of our marriage and family nearly 40 years ago,” adding in part that he “respects her right to tell her story.”
He also said he was “infinitely grateful” to journalists for giving him “the two greatest gifts[of life].” They are grown daughter Kirby, now 40 years old, and son Will, now 39 years old.
Bumpass also apologized in 2016 for the incident that led to their divorce.
