Eric Roberts admitted he missed his daughter Emma Roberts and Cody John’s wedding in Idaho on Saturday.
In an exclusive statement to Page Six, the “Dark Knight” actor said: “I love my daughter, always have been and always will be.
“It’s so great that she gets to celebrate the way she wants and with whom she wants.”
Page Six reached out to Emma for comment, but she did not respond.
The Oscar nominee was spotted leaving Los Angeles-based Crunch Gym the day after a star-studded wedding, which was also attended by Eric’s sister Julia Roberts, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
The 70-year-old kept his attire casual during training, wearing a long-sleeve gray championship shirt and gray sweatpants.
Eric was hundreds of miles away from where his famous daughter exchanged vows with her now-husband.
After four years of dating, the couple said “I do” in front of close friends and relatives at John’s parents’ property in Sun Valley.
Page Six obtained exclusive photos from the ceremony, which lasted 45 minutes and took place in 95-degree temperatures.
The American Horror Story star, 35, was accompanied down the aisle by her 5-year-old son Rose with ex Garrett Hedlund.
Emma looked stunning in a vintage-inspired Monique Lhuillier custom-made ‘convertible’ dress, while the groom looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo.
The couple exchanged vows on a wooden platform as guests braved the heat with small fans.
Several big stars attended the wedding, including Ashley Benson and her husband Brandon Davis. Demi Moore; Kristen Stewart and partner Dylan Meyer; Sarah Paulson. And Billy Lourd.
Emma’s famous aunt Julia also attended the wedding, sitting in the second row with her husband Danny Moder.
The 58-year-old “Pretty Woman” actress looked chic in a flowing blue and white polka dot dress.
Eric and his daughter Emma have had problems for many years.
But in April, the “King of the Gypsies” actor insisted they were not estranged.
While chatting on “Really Famous With Kara Mayer Robinson,” Eric said their relationship “is only complicated through outside eyes…because they don’t understand any of it.”
“So they have their own take on whatever it is,” he explained.
Eric welcomed Emma with ex Kelly Cunningham in 1991.
He is “so proud” of the “Scream Queens” alum, but admitted he could have been a better father to Emma as a child.
“I was like a rag. I shouldn’t have been relied on for anything mentally,” the “Stalking the Doctor” star shared, saying he took “full responsibility for that.”
