Although they were absent from the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special premiere in Hollywood on Monday night, Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso took to social media to reminisce about their time on the iconic Disney Channel series.

Osment was unable to attend the premiere due to scheduling conflicts with her show, “Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding,” but she shared a video to Instagram on Monday while on set of the CBS sitcom. In her post, she thanked all the “Hannah Montana” fans over the past 20 years.

“We’re on the set of Georgie and Mandy’s First Wedding, so we couldn’t make it to the 20-year reunion because we’re filming a show here,” Osment said in the video, along with his Georgie and Mandy co-star Montana Jordan. “But I just wanted to say hello and thank you to everyone who has stuck by us over the years. I’m so grateful that you still love this show. I’m so proud to have been a part of this show…thank you. Lots of love.”

Musso posted a statement on Instagram on Monday, sending a message of encouragement to all the viewers who “grew up with us.” He wrote that the “best part” of “Hannah Montana”‘s legacy is watching fans “build families” and pass the show on to their children. Musso did not mention in his post why he was absent from the premiere.

“To Miley (Cyrus), Emily (Osment), Jason (Earls), Billy Ray (Cyrus), Moises (Arias), and the entire Disney staff, you have become my family through all the real, messy, and beautiful moments,” Musso wrote. “Thank you for believing in that goofy kid from Texas with that hair and questionable clothes. Thank you, everyone, for welcoming me into your homes and hearts 20 years ago, and for allowing me to be here today. I’m honored to share all of this with you.”

“Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” will debut on Disney+ and Hulu on March 24th. It features star Miley Cyrus singing fan-favorite songs from the series, an interview with Call Me Daddy host Alex Cooper, and a surprise appearance from fellow Disney girl Selena Gomez. Gomez guest-starred in Season 2 of Hannah Montana as rival pop star Mikayla Skeech.
