Dolly Parton is postponing its Las Vegas residency due to “health challenges.”

The legendary country singer announced the news via Instagram Sunday, revealing that every doctor’s order must be taken “a few steps.”

“Unfortunately, I would like to hear directly from fans and the public that future Las Vegas concerts need to be postponed. As many people know, I’m dealing with some health challenges and my doctor says I need to have some steps,” Parton, 79 wrote.

“When I joke with them, it must be my 100,000-mile medical check-up time, but meeting my plastic surgeon is not a normal trip! Taking this seriously, I can’t re-haras and put together the shows you want to see.

The “9-5” singer went on to say she wants to be “at (her) the best” for her fans, as she “pays a good money” to see her performance.

“I can still work on all my projects in Nashville, but I’ll need a little time to get ready for the show,” she continued. “And don’t worry about me as God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But I’m ready to go for a bigger adventure with you guys as he tells me to slow down now.”

Parton concluded her post with a comment to the fans, “I love you and thank you for understanding.”

The limited run show, entitled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” was scheduled to kick off at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December.

“To say I’m excited is an understatement,” Parton said in a statement earlier that announced the exciting gig. “I haven’t worked in Vegas for years and I’ve always loved singing there, I’m really looking forward to the show, and I hope you too.

Earlier this month, Parton broke out from her theme park, Dollywood appearance due to another health issue: kidney stones. In a video message on the tape to fans, the country icon said she was following advice from the doctor to take a break.

“It turns out he’s infected and the doctor said, ‘I don’t have to travel this moment, so it’s going to take a few days to improve,” she said. “So he suggested I wouldn’t go to Dollywood today.”

“Don’t worry about me, I’m fine,” she added. “I can’t do it today.”

In July, Parton shared that she was taking a break from music after the death of her beloved husband, Carl Dean. The two were married for nearly 60 years before their death in March.

“I can’t do that now. I’ve got so many other things, so I can’t afford the luxury of being emotional now,” Parton appeared on the “Chloe of the Wonderland” podcast.
