Dina Manzo’s daughter Alexia Iannou called Bethenny Frankel a “freak” on social media for not giving credit for her shoe business, Know.
“Bethenny Frankel is a weirdo,” Iannou, 29, posted in her Instagram reel on Friday after Frankel showed off her outfit for Friday’s Sports Illustrated Social Club appearance.
“I respect her so much that I sent her a pair of shoes from Know almost a year ago. She’s an entrepreneur from the Bravo world like me and was on ‘Shark Tank.’
“She didn’t tag us after wearing those shoes online so many times. Well, that’s common. But today a video she posted went viral and many people are asking where the shoes are,” she continued.
“And instead of linking them, she linked camo and affiliate links. I think she needs to get that bag somehow.”
Via her Instagram Story, Frankel posted a link to similar heels from Black Suede Studio, which sell for $345 at Bloomingdale’s.
“So she got free shoes from a woman-founded brand (my brand) and then made money by sending her followers elsewhere,” Iannou told her followers.
She closed the video by calling Frankel a “freak” once again and repeating that the reality star’s shoes were Nou.
Even Iannou’s mother slammed the fellow “Real Housewives” star in a post accusing Frankel of promoting a pair of duped shoes.
“Wow Bethenny, amazing!!” she wrote over a screenshot of Frankel’s Instagram Story. “It’s weird that instead of giving credit to a young female entrepreneur, you would post a copy of the Shop Know shoes you were given as a gift. I know you like them because you wear them a lot???”
The Skinnygirl founder appeared to hit back at Iannou’s claims with another post on her Instagram on Friday. There, she showed off her complete OOTD and shared the details with her followers. This included a shout out to Nou.
She also left what appears to be a questionable message to Iannou along with the caption. “Apparently lately we can’t deliver content fast enough…” she wrote.
After receiving tremendous support online, Iannou decided to release the shoes worn by Frankel as pre-orders for a limited time.
The black satin mules are currently listed for $375.
