Prime Video’s “Julie Duty Presents: Company Retreat” takes place this Friday at Westfield Fashion Square, where fans can experience a work outing with the Rockin’ Grandma’s Hot Sauce crew.
One of several “Jury Duty” FYC events taking place over the next week, “The Ultimate Corporate Camp” will feature themed food trucks with walking tacos, “PJ’s Snack Attack” stations, card games and more. Prizes include a captain’s hat, a chili necklace, a bottle of Rockin’ Grandma’s Hot Sauce, and more.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of Macy’s at Westfield Fashion Square (14006 Riverside Dr, Sherman Oaks, 91423) and will include non-actor Anthony Norman, executive producers and cast members. Special guests will be available for lunch, photos and more from noon to 1:30 p.m.
On Sunday, “Hot Ones” host Sean Evans will host a “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” event starting at 11 a.m. at NYA West (1520 Wilcox Ave, Los Angeles, 90028). The screening will include episodes 207 and 208, followed by a Q&A and reception.
Evans will be joined by creator/EP Lee Eisenberg, EP Todd Schulman, EP Nicholas Hutton, director/EP Jake Szymanski and Norman.
Later that day, also on June 7, “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” will be shown to Film Independent at Landmark Sunset (8000 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, 90046), followed by a Q&A. Eisenberg, Shulman, Szymanski and Norman will be present.
According to the logline, “Jury Duty Presents: ‘Company Retreat’ tells the story of an off-site event at a family-run hot sauce company from the perspective of Anthony, a recently hired temporary worker, who, unbeknownst to Anthony, is staged, with all of his co-workers playing roles. , each moment, whether in the boardroom or during a break, is meticulously orchestrated. As the founders prepare to step down, the holidays turn into a clash between big companies, with ambitions, small-business values, and control of the company hanging in the balance.
In addition to Norman, the series also stars Alex Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Emily Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, Jerry Hawk, Jim A. Woods, Lanisa Renee Frederick, Marc-Sally Saint-Fleur, Rachel Caley, Rob Lathan, Ryan Perez, Stephanie Hodge, Warren Burke, and Wendy Brown.
